This may be slightly dramatic but one of modern life's greatest struggles has to be finding a really great sleeve for your tech device. That is until I got my TRMTAB.

TRMTAB, a result of a year of design research and prototyping is about "making small changes in factories that can lead to a big impact" and solves one of the biggest problems in fashion manufacturing by reducing waste. Launched in 2014 by SVA graduates Mansi Gupta and Cassandra Michel who share a love for systems thinking and sustainable design, TRMTAB's debut collection comprises beautifully crafted chevron and woven stitched leather sleeves for iPhones, iPads, Kindles, and Macbooks. The designers work closely with Mansi's family's leather factory in Kanpur, India to upcycle buffalo calf hide scraps (or trims) that would otherwise end up in landfill into limited edition tech sleeves (with tabs).
